Covid-19
CPI/The Mark is committed to the safety of our staff, members, and guests. We will follow the most current safety protocols provided by the CDC and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County. We strongly recommend you read CPI’s current pandemic protocols for events here.
How is CPI protecting you from Covid-19?
Procedures
- CPI is a member of the Good to Go Nashville program. This coalition provides resources and education that empowers member organizations to serve their community and customers as safely as possible during this pandemic.
- CPI staff has been trained on the new safety protocols.
- Everyone who enters The Mark must wear a face mask at all times. This includes staff, members, and guests.
- We will be staggering check-in for all events. Event attendees will reserve an appointment window on the CPI/The Mark Reservation site. Upon arrival for the event, folks must remain in their vehicle until the check-in time on their ticket.
- CPI’s Medical Advocates will perform a short health screening for each person (including staff) who enters before they can check-in at the reception desk. This will include a short health survey and a temperature check with a contactless thermometer.
- To promote social distancing, the front door will for entrance only. The emergency door by the classroom will be used for exiting the building. The smoking area will be closed while the back door is being temporarily used as the exit.
- CPI has enhanced cleaning procedures both during events and after-hours cleaning.
- CPI has modified procedures for all events to ensure the appropriate social distancing and cleaning methods are being employed.
- Measures have been taken to minimize surface contact as much as possible – all interior doors (except restrooms) will remain open during events and stations that encourage high congregation (snack, beverages, etc.) have been closed to promote social distancing.
- CPI Management continuously evaluates current safety and health protocols so that we can adapt as necessary.
Equipment
- We’ve installed commercial UltraViolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) units in the HVAC systems to kill airborne viruses — including the Coronaviruses.
- We’ve bought 18 smaller plug-in UVGI units to place throughout the facility to help eliminate airborne viruses closer to the point of origin.
- We’ve bought 5 larger UVGI floor units with higher air throughput for higher-density areas.
- We’ve upgraded our HVAC systems to hospital-grade MERV-13 air filters to physically catch airborne viral particles that we may not have killed via UVGI.
- Signage has been placed throughout the property, inside and outside, to guide attendees regarding safety measures.
- We’ve switched cleaners to a peroxide-based cleaner that is recommended by the National Center for Biotechnology Information to kill Covid-19.
